Hi there, I’m John Morris, currently a youth minister/preacher/artist, and formerly a bodybuilder. Art from the Heart (AFTH) began when I was 17 and out of work. One rainy afternoon, I was channel surfing and came across the Joy of Painting with the late Bob Ross. Seeing how he did all these really cool things with paint made me want to do something like it, too.
So I began painting in water colours on ordinary A4 printer paper, and thinking hmmm… hmmm…
Never did I imagine the journey would take the path that it has and continues to, one of touching people’s lives and speaking to them through the art God instills in my spirit.
If you want to know more about AFTH and about me, please check out the documentary in our Art from the Heart TV section. Thanks for visiting. Please come back again soon.
about Art from the heart.
the fact that we arent just an “art business” we are involved massively in helping people through the uniqueness and spirit that is in a jM AFTH painting, which has been proven to actually, give reduced pain in day to day living, help those battling addictions and also one lady who had a pain free childbirth because of our paintings
we also work extensively with customers who become friends and 99% have an issue which God opens up and reveals a need for healing in. some also go onto work with us as free lance… so we provide jobs too
we do books, cards, prints, paintings
etc
and offer many ways possible to get the paintings out there
even very low montly payment plans
the customer becomes a friend, and through that something special.

I cannot thank you enough for the blog article.Really looking forward to read more. Really Cool.
Connecting with John Morris, Art from the Heart, has been fabulous. His art work is phenomenal. His response to my request for book illustrations has propelled my book, “Why did my dad get cancer?” to a good sales level.
Getting to connect with John on a more personal level with a tour of Maryland for three weeks was fantastic. Seeing him sit and paint… watching the paintings take shape has been awe-inspiring. He has amazed all who got to watch his talent come to life on the canvas.
Sincerely, Anna Renault, author
